Purpose

Pinnacles Advisory Council

The Pinnacles Advisory Council (PAC) will provide school leadership with a broader, inclusive perspective to help guide the setting of strategic priorities. The council’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Help establish and sustain a vibrant culture aligned with the vision and values of the school

  • Support the design and implementation of scholar and family communication and engagement tools and strategies;

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and focus groups;

  • Be school ambassadors by leading experiences during activities such as: school tours, new student orientations, and summer orientation;

  • Provide guidance on the school calendar, schedule, core and supplemental programming;

  • Collaborate with staff and faculty at local, regional and statewide academic conference


Logistics

Community members interested in serving on the council should complete the PAC questionnaire no later than September 15th.  School Leadership and a representative from the Board of Trustees will select representatives through the lens of ensuring that a variety of perspectives are at the table.

  • The Pinnacles Advisory Council (PAC) will be comprised of 3 representative caregivers from each grade level. 

  • The PAC will be overseen and coordinated by the Principal. 

  • The PAC  meets every two months or more frequently as needed. 

  • Terms are for 1 year.

  • The council will elect a chair who will be expected to report out to the Trustee Board quarterly, unless issues arise that deserve more frequency

  • Meeting minutes will be published in the weekly newsletter via parent square
